Instructions for 2025 Registration

Families who meet the low-income criteria or receive government financial assistance, and who are approved by the Christmas Hamper Society, will receive a grocery gift card towards traditional Christmas Day fare and gifts for children under 17 who are listed on the application form and are in the applicant’s full-time care.

Registration will commence on Monday, 17th November 2025, and the application deadline is Tuesday, 16th December 2025. When submitting your application, please ensure all forms are complete and legible. Incomplete forms may result in your application not being processed.

Please note:

• Registration will be done electronically.
• The Means Test will be applied to all families.
• Families who the Christmas Hamper Society previously denied will be considered case-by-case.
• Rudolph’s Recycle Gift Shoppe will be open on Saturday, 6th, 13th, and 20th December 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Please note that we may need additional information to complete your application.
Please do not call to check on the status of your application, our reception volunteers do not have access to that information.

Additional Notes:

• You must complete both pages of the application in full and confirm that you have not and will not apply to another agency and that all children named on the application are in your full-time care.
• A volunteer may need to contact you to confirm your details; name; care card numbers, and proof of income, which must be validated accordingly.
• Once verified and approved, families will be assigned a unique registration number and given a date and time to ‘shop’ for toys at the Christmas Hamper office.
• Please do not arrive at the Hamper site at any time outside the time advised to you.
• Please provide your bags when coming to the toy shop.
• Rudolph’s Recycle Gift Shopper vouchers will be handed to you when you do your toy shopping.

If your application has been approved but you have not received a Toy Shopping date, or if you requested to participate in the Good Neighbour Program, you will need to collect your voucher for Rudolph’s Recycle Gift Shoppe from the office on Saturday, 6th, 13th, or 20th December 2025, starting at 9:30 a.m.
