Instructions for 2024 Registration

Families who meet the criteria of low income or receive government financial assistance and who are approved by the Christmas Hamper Society will receive a grocery gift card to provide families with traditional Christmas Day fare and gifts for children up to the age of 16 years who are named on the Application Form and are in their full-time care.

Registration will commence on Monday 18th, November, and the application deadline is Wednesday 18th December. When submitting your application, please ensure the forms are legible and complete. If the forms are incomplete, your application may not be processed.

Please note:

• Registration will be done electronically.
• The Means Test will be applied to all families.
• Families who the Christmas Hamper Society previously denied will be considered case-by-case.
• Rudolph’s Recycle Gift Shoppe will be open on Saturday, 7th, 14th, and 21st December, 10 am to 2 pm.

Please note that we may need additional information to complete your application.

Additional Notes:

• You must complete both pages of the application in full and confirm that you have not and will not apply to another agency and that all children named on the application are in your full-time care.
• A volunteer may need to contact you to confirm your details; name; care card numbers, and proof of income, which must be validated accordingly.
• Once verified and approved, families will be assigned a unique registration number and given a date and time to ‘shop’ for toys at the Christmas Hamper office.
• Please do not arrive at the Hamper site at any time outside the time advised to you.
• Please provide your bags when coming to the toy shop.

You will need to collect the voucher for Rudolph’s Recycle Gift Shoppe and Family Fun Day with Santa. You can do this on the day you come to do your toy shopping or collect the form from the office on Saturday the 7th, 14th, or 21st December from 9:30 am.
